About Bhandaradara fireflies festival:

The Fireflies Festival is an annual tourist attraction held in the popular hill station of Bhandardara, during the pre-monsoon months of May and June. Known for its dense forests and pristine natural beauty, the Bhandardara region offers visitors the chance to witness thousands of fireflies illuminating the night sky, creating a magical ambiance. Attendees often participate in guided night walk through the forests to observe these enchanting insects in their natural habitat. This popular eco-tourism event attracts nature enthusiasts and photographers from around the country. Additionally, tourists can explore nearby attractions such as the Backwaters, Amruteshwar Temple, Ghatghar and Igatpuri to enhance their experience in the region.

Day 1 (Saturday)

Please catch 11:46 AM Kasara F- Mulund-Diva Train from your convenient station on Saturday and Reach Kasara Station by 2:00 PM

02:30 PM – Journey starts towards Bhandardara
04:30 PM – Check-in to the campsite and get freshen up..
05:00 PM – High tea
06:00 PM – Enjoy sunset view from campsite.
06:30 PM – Group activities and fun time.
09:00 PM – Dinner time.
10:00 PM – Fireflies Sighting Session
12:00 PM – Return back to campsite & silent hours

Day 2 ( Sunday)

07:00 AM – Wake-up call and get freshen up
08:00 AM – Breakfast time
10:00 AM – checkout campsite
12:00 PM – Return journey to hometown with memories for lifetime…

Advance payment of Rs. 1,290/- per person prior to trip is compulsory and its non refundable.

Terms & Condition:

1) Kindly inform about your medical issue in advance, if any.

2) Participants will be responsible for their own belongings and health issues.

3) Avoid wearing gold or other costly jewelry.

4) Keep in mind we are going for Camping, so maintain the discipline and follow leader’s instructions for your own safety.

5) Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding.
Save Tours (organizers) reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plan without prior notice.

6)In case, due to some unavoidable conditions (like natural disaster, change in government or local authorities policy etc) the event gets cancelled before/on the event date or during trek, Trek fees will be refunded except nominal expenses which are already spent till that point.

7) Save tours will not responsible for any injury, death, property damage or loss resulting there from during trekking and travelling.
