Itinerary:

Day 1: Delhi
Arrive at the Delhi airport/station. Reach the Volvo pickup point. Head to Manali. Overnight Bus journey.

Day 02: Manali – Jispa
Upon our arrival in Manali, we’ll freshen up and head towards Jispa which serves as an ideal pitstop on a Ladakh trip. En-route, we’ll be traversing the iconic Atal Tunnel, Sissu, and Keylong which are three beautiful villages perched in Lahaul Valley. Upon our arrival in Jispa, we’ll check into our designated Hotels. Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Jispa.

Day 03: Jispa to Leh
After early morning breakfast, we’ll check out of our campsites and head towards Leh. En-route, we’ll be traversing many iconic spots such as Baralacha La (15,910 ft), and Deepak Tal which is a pristine lake in the Himalayas. We’ll also be traversing the Zing Zing Bar as well as Suraj Tal which is yet another high-altitude lake. We will also be traversing through three iconic high-altitude passes which are Nakee La (15,547 ft), Lachung La (16,600 ft), and Tanglang La (17,480 ft). We’ll make a brief pit stop at Pang for refreshments before resuming our journey. We’ll also be riding through the enthralling Gata Loops which consists of 21 hairpin bends on the Manali Leh Highway and the iconic More Plains which is an aesthetic 40 Kilometer stretch of land followed by Upshi which is a tiny Ladakhi hamlet. Upon our arrival in Leh, we’ll check into our designated stay. Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Leh.

Day 04: Leh- Local Sightseeing
After early morning breakfast, we’ll head out for our local sightseeing tour. After early breakfast, excursion tour of Leh. Visit Monastery, Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Explore the city market (Bazaar). Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Leh-Nubra valley (Via Khardongla Pass)
After a leisurely morning breakfast drive to Nubra valley via Khardung la, (18300 feet) considered as one of the highest motorable road in the World. The view from top of the passes is amazing. One can see all the way south over the Indus valley to the seemingly endless peaks. After explores we drive toward the down Hunder past an area of rolling sand dunes, one can see double hump Camel and visitors can take a camel safari (Own cost) here. Dinner and overnight in Nubra valley Cottages/Camp.

Day 06: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok
After breakfast we drive to the next destination, Pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tangtse and Spangmik (Pangong). Just a few Kms drive from Hunder, visit Diskit Monastery and later continue your drive towards Pangong, the road follows the Shyok river, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village, the entire setting being very picturesque. Afternoon we reach at Pangong lake and enjoy your day at Pangong lake and observe the majestic Lake. Overnight stay in Cottages/camps.

Day 07: Pangong lake – Leh (Via Changla Pass)
During early morning, you can enjoy a photo-session around the lake. Post breakfast drive to Leh via Chang La pass you will reach leh by noon. On the way visit Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Gompa and Rencho School. Relax and Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Leh Departur /  Leh to Kargil
Those who have Delhi to Leh Package, will start return journey by taking flight from Leh airport. Others will depart for further Journey.
On your journey visit the Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas. Then we drive towards visiting Confluence of The Indus And Zanskar River. Later visit Lamayuru, Belongs to Dripung Kagyu (Red Hat). Reach Kargil by evening. Overnight stay and dinner at Kargil.

Day 9: Kargil- Srinagar
Enroute have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing) from the Vijay war memorial hall site. Cross famous Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabited Place in the World) and Zojila pass. Visiting Sonmarg (Known As Meadow of Gold). One of the most beautiful road journeys. In Srinagar, Shikara ride in world famous dal lake. Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 10: Srinagar
After breakfast, get ready with your bags. And you shall be transferred to the Srinagar airport for your return journey.

3) Keep in mind we are going for backpack trip, so maintain the discipline and follow leader’s instructions for your own safety.

4) Trip leader’s decision will be final and binding.
Save Tours (organizers) reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plan without prior notice.

6) In case, due to some unavoidable conditions (like natural disaster, change in government or local authorities policy etc)  the event gets cancelled before/on the event date or during trek, nominal Trek fees will be refunded depending on expenses which are already spent till that point.
