Pandharpur Wari is a yatra to Pandharpur, Maharashtra, to honor Vithoba. It involves carrying the paduka of a saint in a palkhi, most notably of Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram, from their respective shrines to Pandharpur. Many pilgrims join this procession on foot. Warkari is a Marathi term which means “one who performs the wari”. The tradition is more than 700 to 800 years old.

Itinerary:
Day 0 : Friday
- Departure from Mumbai by private vehicle at 09:00 pm from Mumbai.
Day 1:
- Reach Pandharpur in the morning
- Check in at Homestay/ Dharmshala.
- Today Explore Pandharpur nearby Area. (Make note that we will Visit Vitthal temple only for Mukhdarshan)
- You can visit various mathas for Kirtan & Jagar.
- Dinner & Stay
Day 2:
- Wake up early morning & freshen up & start journey towards Velapur
- Enroute Breakfast
- Explore Sant Tukaram & Sant Dnyaneshwar mahuli Palkhi
- Enjoy & shoot Ringan
- Lunch as per the convenience
- Leave city by 4 pm
- Reach Mumbai (As per convenience & Traffic)
Note :
- The main motivation behind this tour is to experience the Wari and Ringan functions. Due to concerns about the rush, we might not visit or may only visit the main Vitthal Temple of Pandharpur for Mukh darshan.
- This is a raw, backpack-style tour, so please do not expect luxury. Long queues and hours of traffic jams are very common during this period in Pandharpur.
- We might need to walk 3-4 km from the parking area, as vehicles might not be allowed near the main Ringan and temple areas.
