Join us to explore famous fireflies festival of Bhandardara & witness illuminating world of Fireflies. We will also visit few nearby places of Bhandardara.
Places to be covered: Bhandaradara, Wilson Dam & Aurther Lake (Bhandardara Backwater), Ghatghar Kokankada, Ancient Amruteshwar Temple, Igatpuri’s Myanmar Gate.
About Bhandaradara fireflies festival:
The Fireflies Festival is an annual tourist attraction held in the popular hill station of Bhandardara, during the pre-monsoon months of May and June. Known for its dense forests and pristine natural beauty, the Bhandardara region offers visitors the chance to witness thousands of fireflies illuminating the night sky, creating a magical ambiance. Attendees often participate in guided night walk through the forests to observe these enchanting insects in their natural habitat. This popular eco-tourism event attracts nature enthusiasts and photographers from around the country. Additionally, tourists can explore nearby attractions such as the Backwaters, Amruteshwar Temple, Ghatghar and Igatpuri to enhance their experience in the region.

- Meet us at Borivali station at 6:30 AM followed by other pick up points.
- 08:00 PM – Enroute we visit Myanmar Gate, Igatpuri.
- 12:30 PM – Reach Bhandardara Hotel & Check in.
- 04:00 PM – Visit Wilson Damn & Nearby area
- 05:30 PM – Evening time enjoy Sunset from Bhandhardara backwater
- 09:00 PM – Dinner time.
- 11:00 PM – Depart for Fireflies Sighting Session
- 01:00 AM – Return back to our stay.
Day 2 ( Sunday)
9:00 AM – Wake-up call and get freshen up
10:00 AM – Checkout & Visit Amruteshwar Temple & Ghatghar Kokankada
1:00 PM – Start Return journey to hometown with memories for lifetime…
Special Note:
1) Sighting of Fireflies is natural phenomena which depends on weather conditions. We can hope to have a beautiful experience of exploring nature in their presence.
2 ) Basic, non ac but neat clean and hygienic Hotel stay will be provided on twin/tripple sharing or on depending on group size.

Terms & Condition:
1) Kindly inform about your medical issue in advance, if any.
2) Participants will be responsible for their own belongings and health issues.
3) Avoid wearing gold or other costly jewelry.
4) Keep in mind we are going for Camping, so maintain the discipline and follow leader’s instructions for your own safety.
5) Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding.
Save Tours (organizers) reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plan without prior notice.
6) In case, due to some unavoidable conditions (like natural disaster, change in government or local authorities policy etc) the event gets cancelled before/on the event date or during trek, Trek fees will be refunded except nominal expenses which are already spent till that point.
