Places to be covered: Bhandardara, Wilson Dam & Aurther Lake (Bhandardara Backwater), Ghatghar Kokankada, Ancient Amruteshwar Temple, Igatpuri’s Myanmar Gate.
About Bhandardara fireflies festival:
The Fireflies Festival is an annual tourist attraction held in the popular hill station of Bhandardara, during the pre-monsoon months of May and June. Known for its dense forests and pristine natural beauty, the Bhandardara region offers visitors the chance to witness thousands of fireflies illuminating the night sky, creating a magical ambiance. Attendees often participate in guided night walk through the forests to observe these enchanting insects in their natural habitat. This popular eco-tourism event attracts nature enthusiasts and photographers from around the country. Additionally, tourists can explore nearby attractions such as the Backwaters, Amruteshwar Temple, Ghatghar and Igatpuri to enhance their experience in the region.

- Meet us at Borivali station at 10:00 PM followed by other pick up points.
- Start Journey Towards Bhandardara
Day 2: (Sunday)
- 02:00 AM – freshen up Tea break enroute
- 03:00 AM – Reach Bhandardara & Fireflies Sighting Session .
- 06:00 AM: Reach Base village & time to rest.
- 08:00 Am: Wake up time & Breakfast.
- 09:00 AM: Start nearby Local sightseeing – Amruteshwar Temple, Ghatghar Kokankada, Damn & Nearby area (Depending on time)
- 12:00 PM after Lunch start retur journey to mumbai, Enroute we visit Myanmar Gate, Igatpuri
- 08:00 PM – Reach hometown with memories for lifetime…
Special Note:
1) Sighting of Fireflies is natural phenomena which depends on weather conditions. We can hope to have a beautiful experience of exploring nature in their presence.
2 ) as it is tribal/rural area, very Basic facilities are available for morning fresh up !

Terms & Condition:
1) Kindly inform about your medical issue in advance, if any.
2) Participants will be responsible for their own belongings and health issues.
3) Avoid wearing gold or other costly jewelry.
4) Keep in mind we are going for Camping, so maintain the discipline and follow leader’s instructions for your own safety.
5) Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding.
Save Tours (organizers) reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plan without prior notice.
6) In case, due to some unavoidable conditions (like natural disaster, change in government or local authorities policy etc) the event gets cancelled before/on the event date or during trek, Trek fees will be refunded except nominal expenses which are already spent till that point.
7) Save tours will not responsible for any injury, death, property damage or loss resulting there from during trekking and travelling.
